hello: although the "query" button in the admin console DOES work. the "away" button does not do anything. I have my ST-Nuheat nodeserver set up to control my new NuHeat Floor Thermostat when I access the thermostat from their app, there is no "away" mode so I suspect that this may be the reason why the "away" button doesn't work. I guess I'll just have to change the floor setpoint and put it on "permanent" for my "away" setting, so to speak.

I have everything all set up but I cannot get any of the buttons in the Admin Console to do anything to the elk. Any suggestions? I have the user code all set up.

@Panda88 are you going to be able to fix the Tesla Nodeserver sometime soon? I can of rely on it to some extent. 🤓

@DennisC with your help, i figured it out. I'll post how i did it so it may help someone else in the future: I had to go into the "M1XEP Setup" button and click the "enable non-secure port" and then set the port settings to 2101 (as DennisC suggested):😃

I did as you asked. here is the debug info. I can't really see anything that jumps out at me, so I hope you (or someone) can make a suggestion for me. (I deleted the debug info because it was a waste of bandwidth. :))

I started up the trial version of the Elk PG3 Nodeserver and got it configured. it shows up in the UD in PolISY but there are no zones. I only have the "Elk Controller" node that provides this info: what do i need to do to get the zones and other information/options?

I have a GE alarm system and I'd like to try to hook it up to an envisalink System. what do I need to buy?

are there some more rudimentary instructions available to help me set up this nodeserver? how does it work? do i have to have a Raspberry Pi running, and if so, what are the instructions for setting up that?

a bit more information for other users of this: when I used ISY to set my "Comfort Setting" to "AwayExtended" and "hold Time" to "Hold Indefinite", it correctly caused the thermostat to go to "AwayExtend" setting but the "hold indefinite" didnt work. I contacted Ecobee support and asked them about this. they said: so, I tried turning the "Hold Duration" in the app to "Decide at time of change" and it worked. the problem is that i have children who will adjust thermostats and choose "indefinite" setting change and this will not allow the normal schedule to resume. I'd like to have the ISY be able to setting the "hold duration" to "indefinite" but the thermostats themselves to only be able to change the temp "until the next schedule".

I’d like to have (buy) a deadbolt that has a fingerprint reader that has a fingerprint reader and also has a nodeserver so I can connect it to my ISY. Eufy makes what appears to be a very nice fingerprint deadbolt but there is no nodeserver for it. Perhaps there is someone I could commission to make one? I doubt I could figure out how to do it myself.

all of my programs somehow became "disabled" overnight, too. I am currently going through them to re-enabled those that needs such.

I have an electric heated floor in my bathroom and it has a "dumb" thermostat. is anyone aware of a heated floor thermostat that can cooperate with ISY?

@Wibar the August Lock NodeServer is sort of a beta version (or really maybe alpha version). I had to do quite a bit of work on mine to get it to work. I can only hope the problems have been fixed so that it works right off the shelf, so to speak. if you are having trouble getting it to work, I may be able to help if I can remember what I did but it included some minimal tweaking of the programing. welcome aboard!

A reboot and a restart sounds like the same thing. maybe a reboot is like a power cycle and a restart just stops all of the software and restarts it?

in the following: what is TPM? I can't find it mentioned anywhere in this forum. what is the difference between "Reboot" and "Restart IoX"?

@DennisC: yes, I used this "update" button and it worked. this is great. Thank you for the help! My initial reluctance to use this button is that it is in the "purchase" column. the above photo makes it look like it'll cost me $10 or that I'm updating payment for the nodeserver.

what is the easiest way to upgrade my version of a single nodeserver? (I hope it isn't to click "upgrade packages" in the admin console.)

I have a nodeserver (Rachio) that has one nodes and data in PG3x but none of the data is in ISY (Polisy). I’m on latest software, by the way. I tried deleting the nodes inside of the admin console but now I can’t get them to come back. I think I’ve been through this with other nodes and I think I know what to do but I’d like to ask here: 1) what do I need to do to get the notes back and working in ISY? 2) was there a better way to fix these blank data nodes than deleting the nodes in the admin console?

I cannot find a way to "reboot" the PG3x, how do I do so?

I would like to use my ISY to put my Ecobee thermostats in vacation mode. this appears like it should work with this program: I have also found that using this button to put the thermostat in vacation mode doesn't work, either (in the main tab of the Administrative Console). I've tried using this button with and without the "hold indefinite" and it still doesn't work. the unit will not change the mode to "vacation" no matter what I do. I was able to use the Ecobee app to put my units in "vacation" mode and this shows up in the admin console as "vacation" for two of my three thermostats.

What is the "ISY Portal" nodeserver for? no, I do not have another PG3 running. I had this one installed in PG2 and now my PG2 is gone because I upgraded to PG3x.

how could I remove these two nodeservers?
