  1. Thanks as always @Goose66 I have added devices to the MQTT plugin before, and still use it so it made sense ; still took me too long, lol. Yours will likely be better for those just using the Ratgdo, as the MQTT plugin is a bit of a cyborg now with so many devices on it. Fun to do anyway. I did the pull request to @xKing tonight.
  2. motion has been weird. the odd time it flips but I'm not sure if its coming from my sensor or not. so I just pass the status onto the isy. if you look at ratdgo's GitHub it should be 'clear' for the opposite of 'detected' I think I am done my testing & going to do a pull request to @xKing
  3. I am now ready to do a pull request to the MQTT plugin / node-server which adds a Radgo device. Just need to update the config documentation. if you want to see and tryout the code before it's published then checkout my fork of the mqtt plugin. (garage branch) https://github.com/sejgit/udi-mqtt-pg3/tree/garage Have it working well at home ; let's see in the field !!
  4. 1884 is the required port using the IP of your Polisy/Eisy
  5. mine arrived and its wired and working! I can get both status and control it manually through the MQTT server on the EISY Below is a screen shot from MQTT Explorer which is a client I can use to read/write to the MQTT server. Works like a charm! I may set up a manual python program first or may go right at the MQTT plug-in and make a device!!
  6. The current MQTT doesn't do garage door openers but it is pretty easy & open to pull requests. A few years ago I added I think three different devices. You just set-up standard in/outs and they type of data. I am told my ratgdo has now shipped; so my plan was to get it up and going then work on the MQTT plugin.
  7. Nice setup. I have a well (as well) and considered this option. Went with the Yo-Link as it was cheaper and less wiring (and I'm an electrical engineer). But I really appreciate this as the 'ideal' solution in many ways. My well pump is 40A as its on-demand pressure so would have required a bit beefier setup.
  8. Hard to compare if you buy only one. I can say I’ve had the yo-link high torque robot for over a year now. It has been exorcised numerous times both through direct pairing with yo-link leak sensors as well as indirectly through eisy & node server from Insteon and zwave leak sensors.
  9. Ordered one a little over a week ago. Over the weekend I moved my MQTT from a pi over to my eisy. I have used the MQTT “plugin” quite a bit over the last few years, adding some devices to it. Would be easy to add a special ratdgo device as well. So just staring at my mailbox now as no tracking on the ratdgo site. lol.

I’ve always found that this move is instant, including to iCloud.
  11. it looks like both. the status goes through MQTT for full information or can use a couple contacts for open & obstructed. I have used the MQTT node server & this could be set to use it (or HA, or node red). My plan is to use the UD MQTT node server. I may do a pull request and add another device to that node server with all the messaging for this ; I have added devices in that past to it & @xKing has been really good verifying and accepting them. obviously if @Goose66 has a better approach, collaboration is always a good path.
  12. @Goose66 according to above the ratgdo are good with Genie. I am with your thought train here that you are spending a lot of time with MyQ trying to keep up with the arms race they are perpetrating. If "we" all went to the above method using the node servers already written your upkeep might go down quite a bit. I am offering my services, both testing on my unit & programming to help (if wanted or helpful). I am going to order one of the ratgo's and start playing. In the mean time, thanks again for all your efforts keeping this node server up and going.
  13. Saw this node server and took a look at the hardware it supports. It looks like the hardware is exactly like my Schluter & Microline controllers for my heated floors. Wondering if, with some small mods this node server can work with those as well. The apple apps are almost exactly the same as well. Dirt-heat / Microline Thoughts?

    back in business!

Same problem PG3x 3.2.8 , Yo-Link at 0.9.63, twice reinstall, reboot of EISY, many restart or stop/start, also did a 'Add all nodes' in the admin. Status still disconnected. Did the update work for anybody (except the author)? BTW: : during frustrating times I do want to say how much I appreciate this node server and your efforts....this too shall pass.
  16. @trevorst sorry for delay, was a busy weekend. yes I am getting status updates on the nodes in the admin and don’t need to use the basic node ( I do use them in scenes). I get fast on for double tap unless in scene mode which I use the appropriate scene input. Has taken me a lot of interviews to get all the nodes working well. Recently i did do an ota update and find the switches behaviour better as well. They have been a pain in the a** to set up but seem to be ok now. I actually bought them when Insteon went bust. Happily back to Insteon for switches & yolink for sensors. Have only a few zwave & wont have more until matter or something gets better.
  17. By setting config parameter to 0 - no scenes or 1 - use scenes you can then get the scene button parameters to work. Mine look like this in the device. Use the scene button to trigger the scene or program.
  18. Not exactly what you are asking but I use folders to do something with similar functionality.
  19. thanks to @Chris Jahn & @btreinders ! Chris you are right the first statement was the winner. 1. ssh into eisy 2. sudo mv /var/isy/FILES/CONF/ENABLED.D2D ~ 3. reboot now 4. through admin search for and disable the appropriate programs 5. reboot from admin. 6. sigh with relief Thanks to all !!
  20. Yes still crashing on 1.1.22 within seconds of moving to iPhone app screen or another app.
  21. it may not be known but this issue is NOT resolved. I have done multiple updates and reboots. The very odd thing is that it is not happening on every reboot but at least 50% I do not reboot often but have been having some issues ota updating a particular zooz switch (one works the other won't update with a socket error; different issue or related??.) Am I alone in this or are others experiencing the disabled program issue on reboot?
  22. Getting that often too. I get the message when on the iPhone I switch to another app or the Home Screen. Swipe up or over. I have been hitting the report to developer option most times but haven’t been putting in my email most times. Quick query: does that help you a lot ?
  23. First time in my 10yrs I lost all my init values on a reboot. Any other reports of this? Very inconvenient when you lose your ALWAYS_ON variable! ****Update - must have lost an init file as back-up failed part way through at var init. As soon as I edited the init values I was able to do a back-up. Again first time corruption of a file on EISY (only had it once on my 994 when the memory card failed)
  24. Since the last 3x update I have also been getting just my YoLink server failing then restarting a number of times per day. Does not seem to be internet though as I also have a monitor on that. Anyone else?
  25. Interesting as yours have a few minutes between the offline & online. Mine (which only happen on my 994, not POLISY or EISY), go offline then online in the same minute. The time delay should solve mine but yours have significant time between and even a number of offlines in a row.
