Are you using a single scene, with multiple controllers, where each Controller (red nodes in the admin console) is set differently? If so, that's not compatible with external control. If you are in fact using 3 scenes, where the red node has been configured to set the correct values, then you also should set the root level of the scene the same way. (note if this is your issue you can prove it by opening the admin console, selecting the root level of the scene and pressing on. If you got the same result as when the scene was activated via HA then in fact you don't have the root level of the scene configure to turn those buttons off) Consider this example: the button by the front door, is the red node. The root level of the scene is currently highlighted and named "Front Light - Evening". When the button by the front door is pushed the settings for the red node is used. When the ISY itself (or HA by extention) turns the scene on or off the scene settings for the Root level are used instead. So for this scene the root level and the red node are configured the same. The responder nodes that end in "bright", "day" and "late night" are in fact other "radio button" style controller buttons at the front door. Each of the 4 scene's is set to "turn off" the last button.

I'd never heard of Meross, but it looks like many of their devices are wifi. In that case if you can paste a url into a browser to control the device then it's pretty simply to interface to any IoX device using Network Resources.

When you say "i have cleared everything in the java settings and rebooted" does that mean you checked all 3 boxes including for "Installed Applications and Applets"? which is not checked by default. Are you using Launcher or a copy of admin.jnlp? Win or Mac? You can also try deleting .state files.

it does sound like you've got a bad PLM

Interesting that the there's nothing happening before the reboots. First, Please make sure you have a current ISY backup even if you choose to ignore the rest of this post. There's really only two things that ever die on a 994, the power supply and the MicroSD card. (well the 3rd being the Ethernet port gets hosed by a surge but we can cross that off the list.) I'd try a new power supply first. You can try any power supply that outputs anywhere between 5 volt and 30 volts,center positive, 2mm barrel connector. For a MicroSD card, buy 32gb as it's the largest a 994 will support and the 32gb will be less expensive than 16GB or less. Also look for the newer A1 Rating (A2 is ok, but the ISY994 doesn't have the hardware component required to utilize A2). When replacing the MicroSD card, you must first load the firmware file for whatever firmware you are on. Use Help > Manually upgrade ISY. (The bootloader that gets the ISY online with a new card is not a full version of the firmware, nor is it current). After the reboot following new firmware then restore your ISY backup.

If rebooting the ISY doesn't work. Next open the Event Viewer, set level 3... clear the window then attempt to restore a node. The event viewer and/or the error log may give clues to what's going on.

DO NOT DELETE THE PLM. if you do you'll be starting over. As mentioned above did you "Restore PM", that needs to happen with a new PLM. The PLM must be powered up and stable BEFORE the ISY is booted. Usually plugging in the PLM and waiting 15 or 20 seconds is enough, then plug in the ISY. Have you tried a different cable? Although it's serial communication and not ethernet any standard networking cable will work. If these suggestions don't help, then I suggest you open a ticket rather than randomly trying things (like delete PLM).

The version called IoX Launcher installed on the desktop but start.jnlp downloads the correct admin console each time the admin console is opened. In Finder you're allowed to choose between "Lan" and "Cloud". Lan obtains the admin.jnlp file from the ISY and opens it. Cloud obtains the file from UD's cloud storage. The idea behind launcher is that it should always launch the correct version of the admin console to match the firmware of the ISY. If the ISY is a 994 then picking "cloud" will be faster, due to the 994 being slow at encrypting for TLS, the cloud will be much faster. This less of a concern for Polisy and eisy as they have much faster processors with more horsepower than is being used. Using admin.jnlp instead is fine, just rember to delete it, clear the java cache and re-download it with each firmware upgrade.

Start does make it seem like you're looking at the error log, but what should be of interest to you is what is before the Start. i.e. what caused the reboot. If you're not looking at the error log then yes that's what you need to analyze. if you're having trouble reading it post a few days worth of it.

@ccclapp In addition to what @brians accurately told you, consider that the Zmatter board has 2 purposes. Z-wave which worked from day 1 and now added Zigbee support.

A lot to unpack here. First did you follow the migration instructions or did you just load the backup? Second fancy power points indicate you're not getting into the admin console, but the text of your post clearly indicates that you are. Third, usually you can't change the status of a sensor, however you should be able to change the status of a switch or dimmer. Fourth, are you using windows or mac (with regards to the desktop icon). Finally, to better help yourself, simply paste your screen shots right into the post. Not everyone has a copy of powerpoint, those that don't have to simply skip trying to help you.

You may or may not need to re-save the program to get the program to work. (since it was actually created with a mismatched versions.) If so, you can likely just open it, click on any program line, hit the update button, then the save button again.

It has shown up now! I don't have anymore time to look at it today tho. Not worried about the issues, just reporting what i see so that it could get fixed. I thought I'd jump on taking a look since you're having issues with your lock.

I don't think @Geddy handles what appears in the store, he just deals with the forum. Perhaps @bpwwer or perhaps @bmercier (based on recent PG3 release announcements) can check.

Still not showing for me. The total count at the top of the store is showing 116. doesn't seem to be a cache issue in addition to the Refresh button in the store I also tried Shift-reload. I did see the green bubble that the list was updated from the server also.

Thanks, I'll check it out. After your question in a post above, I meant to read through the possibilities in the library's documentation and see if I had suggestions. Defiantly who Unlocked is of interest to me tho for automation purposes. I'll attempt to check out the node server later.

yes. log in via ssh and type 'passwd' (no ticks marks). unless something has recently changed only the admin user position can be configured, User 1, 2, etc simply don't work. They've been in the interface since early v5 and have always been non-functional. Assuming you're asking about admin console users, see above.

I'm never a fan of anything that requires a cloud server, but 'free cloud server for life' is more troubling to me. I don't follow the company, don't know anything about its size or connections. I do know however that without innovation and development eventually any product will reach stagnation in sales maybe they are large and diverse enough that they will always be able to pay the server bill via new product sales, but I certainly don't want to put my money in that basket. Edit to add: Not to mention the internet connection has to be in working order for the product to be utilized.
