    SMTP stopped working

And how right you are!!! Skipped over the account setup paragraph. Thanks to both you and Techman for your help. Default had been working for me until recently when a leak detector should have reported. All is now working fine. 🙂

    SMTP stopped working

Thanks, but that did not work for me. I get the same error when using default or gmail. Please see the error and my gmail info. My google account has 2 factor identification, I turned that off and get the same results. Also tried it with and without "from".
  4. I have had my SMTP setting set to default which has been working fine. Just discovered today with a water leak issue my notifications were not working. Test showing "Mail server failure". I tried setting it up to my gmail account only to get errors on that. Any advice on resolving the issue?
  5. PapaBear have any follow up comments? I'm thinking of going the same route.
  6. Thanks for response roblombardo. I should have mentioned I am using android.
  7. I find myself at the point of upgrading my phone and depend on Mobilinc Pro (Android) to access my 994 daily. Anyone know if it is still a viable solution, and if not what are my options. I do have a new eisy but will not have time to bring it up and running for another month or so. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
  8. Thanks MrBill! Thought I tried that but...........!
  9. I am trying to change the on level from 15% to 7%. Nothing changes after I "write changes". Tried other devices, same result. Firmware is 5.3.4 Any thoughts?
  10. Many thanks to you both. No z-wave so I'll move ahead with 5.3.4.
  11. I am currently running 5.0.16, what version should I be updating to with the least pain?
  12. Did the trick, resolved both problems. Many thanks!!
  13. I am running 5.0.16, and MobiLinc Pro. In my case both MobiLinc and desktop access were fine last week.
  14. I was out of town for a couple of days and tried to use my MobiLinc to access my ISY994i only to get a message "MobiLinc is unable to connect to your lighting controller". Received same message when local. Upon returning home I tried to access from my desktop with no joy. I updated my Java and purged everything, still no joy. Used https://isy.universal-devices.com/start.jnlp for new start. ISY Finder comes up but when I select Admin Console (LAN) it just hangs there. Selecting Dashboard will bring it up dashboard. Selecting Admin Console (Cloud) which will give me a login screen. After logging in it gives me an error "LIB_ERRORS_403" which I can bypass, along with having to agree to the license agreement. I can then see my devices but all program data is missing. The 994i appears to be running most existing programs. There is one fan timer which does not seem to be running, strange as other timer programs seem ok. Anyone with any thoughts?
  15. No joy, finder came up but found nothing. Cleared java and went back to launcher, it found the ISY but not type or version. Went looking to see what is different between the computer which is working and my new one. Both are Win10 pro x64, old one running java 8.0 261, new one 8.0 281. Found the following difference. Does ISY care about the Architecture?
  16. DennisC: Don't believe it was me that showed the subnet with a 1, 0 is correct. Screw Loose Dan: When I finally was able to "add" to the ISY finder it showed 5.0.16, which is correct. But, when I tried to access the Admin Console from there it errored out as shown above. Even though it errored out it had accessed the ISY by the fact it was showing a communication error in a window under the java error. When I closed the java error the app was dead. I went back and restarted the ISY Launch icon and the finder came up with type and version blank which I assume means it did not see the ISY for some reason. Any idea what the error is saying? The computer is question is not logged in as guest, and guest is off. What seems very strange is that it would see the ISY briefly after all the tries, and on top of that not see it again. BTW, always liked to eat at the Collegeville Inn when we lived in Willow Grove. Understand it is gone.
  17. How do I explain this??? The only thing that is different is that I let the new computer go to sleep. I tried adding the isy to the finder again, as I had already done many many times over, and it found it. That is the only good news. When I tried to access the Admin Console, the AC screen appeared with an error screen. "Socket Open Failed java.net.SocketException: Address family not supported by protocol family; connect" Interesting that under that error screen was an isy screen saying a device was not found, which was correct and expected. When I tried the ISY Launcher again the finder appeared but Type and Version were blank and trying to access the AC just locked things up.
  18. Thanks Michel, no joy. The ISY finder comes up blank on startup and when "add" is used it errors out on "Invalid URL". Keep in mind I can get into the dashboard by using the static address in explorer but even there cannot access admin console. I did see the post "Unable to access ISY" and removed any udi*.state files but again no joy.
  19. Looking at my router I'm finding that it has single port 443 forwarding both in and out to the isy. Not sure why that is in there but it goes back many years. Suspect it may be an issue, what say you?
  20. I forgot to mention that the computer that is working is hardwired, and WIFI on the problem machine. Will take a look at the router to see if anything looks strange to me. I do use Mobilinc via WIFI with no issues both remote and on site via phone.
  21. Yes the Launcher Icon fires up the finder which is not finding the isy. The fact that I can get into it via browser (but not the console) makes me think it is a Java issue and I am as dumb as a stone when it comes to Java.
  22. Keep in mind that I can access it via browser, just not the Admin Console.
  23. Thanks guys, my only firewall is Windows Defender on both computers which are both Win10. I have tried with it turned off does not help. As I stated above, I have tried with both the finder, which cannot find the isy994i even manually. When I try via a browser I get as far as described and it hangs. Don't know if it helps but I have attached the generated target data from both computers ISYstartIcon.txt
  24. Can access from old computer with no issues. New computer has current Java installed, cache cleared. Used isy finder, creates icon but does not find isy. Tried adding manually (static ip) does not find it. I can access via Chrome or Edge and get to the dashboard and see all devices etc but, when I try to access admin console I get to the "Please Keep This Window Open" and it hangs. Any ideas on what I am missing?
  25. kclenden, MANY thanks, big help!! Any recommendation where I can find info on understanding events? There are times I see over 50 [ time] in a row, any reason for this?
