Thank you both for your input. Had to go out of town for a while, just getting back to this issue. Can you point me to where I can find info on interpreting what I am seeing in the event log. Some of it I can piece together but I am a bit lost. I do believe I have something besides a loop. In the above event log I am seeing line 2 through line 6 repeating for hours. Have looked at different days, and have seen them repeat from a couple to over 4 hours. Can anyone tell me what I am seeing in those lines? I have had older dimmers go rogue but they have exhibited strange lighting sequences, just wondering if the addressed dimmer is going bad.

Have an ISY994i that is running 5.0.16, was upgraded to 5 probably at least 6 months ago without any issues. Lately have found some commands not completing correctly so went looking at the log and found the attached loop. Need some help in interpreting it. Seems to me that something is issuing a time command. The only thing I can think might is the following: The 12.A0.4E is 'Hall - foyer / Front Lites' but I am lost at what the log is telling me. I might add that this program goes back many many years to version 4 without issues. Nothing here seem logical to me in causing a loop. I have powered down the 2420M (test motion old-Sensor) in the event it had an issue, disabled the program, issued a STOP. Loop keeps running. Anyone have any advice?

Just updated to 5.0.16. Unable to add button to second scene, get message referring to previous assigned scene.

Have a scene button on a 2486D which is also setting the level of it's dimmer. However, it is having no affect on the dimmer. ISY994i shows the scene being set to 100% but is actually off. Is there an issue with scene buttons affecting the physically attached device? I see no entries in the dimmer link table addressing it's self. ISY994i using version 5.

Have to replace an old motion sensor with a version 2 ?. Any advice on moving on to version 5? I'm currently on 4.7.3, all devices are Insteon, and ISY994i has straight forward programming.

Interesting, I also saw some webcams that were reporting wrong times yesterday. Today all is fine, will try and remember to look for it in the fall, will try a custom location if it is off then.

Installed a new plm yesterday which should have nothing to do with this issue. This AM found times an hour early. If I sync with the computer the time is correct , sync to the ntp server and the time jumps 1 hour. Time zone is correct. BTW 4.7.3

Nor did it to me. When I looked with explorer, I found that the backup before the update was smaller than it should have been (which is what I had used to restore), went back one and all is well. Still find it strange that the update without a restore would have dropped virtually all devices. But, all is well now. Thanks Michel.

Tried to add a 2477S to 4.6.2 without success, so upgraded to 4.7.3, and purged java. After restarting only had a few, like 3 devices should have been close to 100, all scenes are gone, but all programs are there. Did a restore but same results. Anyone have any thoughts??

Have made no changes to router in a long time, did reboot it but no change, running bridge mode. I am finding that of the 20 or so more common ports only 2, 21 and 443 are open. Even remote access 3389 is now closed.

Comcast has started blocking just about all ports in our area. The only ones I have found open are 21 and 443 of the more common ones. I was using a high number in replace of 80 for http but it is now blocked. Anyone using Comcast and found a work around? Yes, I am sure it is Comcast, have turned off firewall while testing. Had been using 587 for smtp, that is now closed also.

Resolved. Tried going back into isy via phone using mobilinc, upon exit everything started working fine again. Would suspect something got hung up from the last time I used it, which when thinking about it, was around the time the isy started acting up.

A couple of days ago my email notifications stopped. When I looked at the isy994i (4.3.26) today I found the NTP also is having issues. There have been no changes to my isy or router when this started. Have rebooted the isy, no change. In the attached error from NTP I find the dispatcher curious (dispatcher.mobillincconnect.com), it is the same for an email or NTP error. Anyone with any thougnts? Paul

Brian, Yes.

Factory reset gave me a green light and a buzz while button was pressed, and brought no joy! I suspect it is more than the PS even though it is about the time it could be going bad.

For those of you who have experienced a power supply failure. Has anyone found that the LED remains on but still has a blown power supply? Had a series of power interruptions yesterday which left me with a non usable PLM. Have the parts to rebuild, but did not want to waste my time if it is not the PS. Just seemed strange that the LED would remain on. Paul

You all have my attention!!! Ordered a bunch from SH before the price went up, they have to be out of their minds now! I am finding a NEJE 5 pro, and a NEJE 6 pro, both seem to have the same specs, any suggestions based on experience?

Had tried restores, no joy. Finally removed device from isy, did a factory reset, updated to 4.3.26, reinstalled device and did a restore and all seems well with the world.

Next day, 3 out of 4 stopped working.
