LampLinc responds to Fast On not On

Featured Replies

Posted

All of the sudden all my lamplincs will not respond to 'On' from the ISY or from Mobilinc. They will respond to 'On' from a program but not from the mobilinc or the ISY. They will respond to 'Fast On' from the ISY, but the mobilinc does not have the fast on, just off and on. Everything will respond to 'Off' both from the ISY and mobilinc and programs. Any ideas what to check?

Thanks, Bill

The LampLinc responds to an On (100% On) from an ISY Program but does not respond to an On from the Admin Console?

Run Tools | Diagnostics | Event Viewer at LEVEL 3. Run the ISY Program that turns the LampLinc On and issue an On from the Admin Console. Post the event trace.

The Event Viewer Log is attached. First I ran the program that would turn the lamps on, then I issued an off from Admin Console and the issued an ON from the Admin Con. I then issued a 'FAST On' from the Ad Con.

Thanks for the trace data.

Check the On Level (applied locally) sliders for the two devices in the trace. The traced On commands from the Admin Console have an On Level of 0% which has the effect of turning the devices Off

Thanks Lee, That was the problem. Is there something that would change all my lamplincs like that? I went and changed them all to 100% and they work fine now. Don't know what changed them all to 0% to start with.

Thanks again.

Any recent upgrade of the ISY firmware or upgrade of Java?

Click Help | About and insure both the Firmware and UI lines indicate the same level.

What ISY firmware level is being used?

Does anyone else have access to your admin console? This has the feel of an April Fools prank to me.
