problem with away scene

Irecently went on vacation and thought I'd make a program that would make the house look lived in, and it didn't work.

I had friends checking on the house and they saw no lights.

I also had a notification to send to my cell and that didn't work either.

But when I came home many LEDS on my KPLs were lit.(?)

Something must have happened.

If

Status 'Deck KPL E' is On

And Time is Sunset + 45 minutes

Then

Set Scene 'Cooking' On

Wait 30 minutes

Set Scene 'Cooking' Off

Set Scene 'Entertaining' On

Wait 15 minutes

Set Scene 'Entertaining' Off

Set Scene 'All Dim' On

Set 'Deck KPL A Decklight' 50%

Set Scene 'All Off' On

Send Notification to All

Else

- No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action')

As you can tell I want to just push a button when I leave and have the program run.

Any ideas?

Hi Drew!

I too use ISY for the same as you do, probably works harder when I'm not home than when I'm here. I had problems getting ISY to "reliably" respond to just a KPL button. I bought and installed an ApplianceLinc that I then linked to that KPL button. Then I programmed ISY to look for the KPL or APL as off. Since then my AWAY program has never failed. Seems APL's will always stay at their last mode, where KPL sometimes change mode if there is a power outage. Anyway, an APL is a cheap insurance policy.
