Hello.. Running most recent 4.2.8 firmware..

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed issues with Sending text notification ?

 

I can't seem to get it to go ?

I also tried running a test and it failed

I also rebooted the ISY ..

If you're using the UDI default mail server it was down for a short while

A great man or woman once said... timing is everything.. both(email and text) are working this morning.. thanks Techman.. appriaicate the heads up..

 

BTW.. do you know.. when I do a text msg notify .. the ISY send a pre-text heads up and then I have to respond with a "read" to to get a second text that is the actual ISY msg.. is this the ISY or my provider.??

id like only to receive the 1 msg..

Provider account combination. I had that same thing on my old provider and an older phone style. It may be your account setup with the provider.

I am so very sorry. We did have a mail server failure yesterday so if you are using the Default account, this must have been the likely cause.

 

It's always best to use your own SMTP account.
