Suddenly Trouble Creating a New Scene

Featured Replies

Posted

On two separate computers, I'm unable to create a new scene.

I click on the new scene button and name the scene, then when I hit "enter" I get this error message:

"upnp cancellation failed: SID not found

[uuid:169]"

I've updated to latest java on one of the machines, cleared java cache and tried again, same result.

If I try creating a scene a second time, again I can name it but as soon as I hit enter I then get:

"Request failed"

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

How many scenes do you have already?  Is your ISY a standard or Pro?

Have you rebooted the ISY and tried again?

I have 53 scenes, nothing major. My ISY is 994i non-pro. Tried to power cycle and still have the same result. All of a sudden too!

Any other things I could try?

I also noticed that I get a "request failed" error when I simply try to create a new folder in my ISY (ie, "Kitchen" folder).

Thusfar, I've tried clearing the java cache again, installed 4.2.28, backup and reboot ISY, etc etc, still keep getting "request failed" errors for simple requests. Other things seem to be functioning normally
