Hello all,

With the new version of Chrome, Java Applets are no longer supported. As such - and to access the Admin Console - please do make sure that you use the following URLs:

Thank you.

With kind regards,

Michel

Have tried all possible combinations of these URLs with no luck on Chrome and IE . Could you give a more detailed description with all alphanumeric charictures required for those of us more computer challenged?

Hello Davonavo,

The first link does not download a file to your computer system? If it does all you need to do is click on the down load and the application will launch.

Once it finds your ISY Series Controller it will than automatically launch the Admin Console.

OK, fourteenth combination of characters and numerals yielded results, thanks. Some of us need a little more help.

Glad you got all sorted out.

What might that combination be? I'm new to this combination and can't get any of the links to even recognize the ISY on my network,

Thank you

Why does anyone use Chrome or IE to access the ISY?

It's an easy way to run anything that's already set up; scenes, programs, cameras, network resources, wake on lan, etc. for those who just need control, but not intricate details.

Through the built web interface?

Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not seeing any problems.

Possibly because that's what the instructions suggest :)

Some of us are new to this, so we try to follow the instructions.

Use the ISY Finder.  With multiple ISY devices in use it allows the selection of the appropriate ISY.  No Browser involved.

If one doesn't use a browser how else would we access our ISYs to programme them?

I use the java applet. No browser involved.

The instructions also suggest not using a browser. Maybe it's time to remove the browser from the instructions.

can you provide specific instructions as to how to access an isy from outside the home network?  I tried using the options above and they didn't work.

Is there any way to administer the thing without using Java?  A java applet implies that I have a PC, most likely a Windows PC.  How about just a browser-based interface that I can run from a phone or a tablet?

Attempting to hide the logo on an iOS device using #main_panel=false doesn't work.  It ends up being URL-encoded into %23 which fails.

Yes, actually it does.  You just can't enter it as a bookmark--iOS changes the # to %23.  But if you enter it into the browser address bar and then save it as a bookmark, that works.
