gsownsby
To make the list of devices more understandable in the "tree structure" of the ISY99i, I tend to standardize on device naming like: 0A.2B.7F.1 MBRCon A 0A.2B.7F.2 MBRCon B 0A.2B.7F.3 MBRCon C where MBRCon X means (to me) "Master Bedroom Controller Switch A" New users to the ISY often have to name/rename, name/rename, devices often until their final design settles down. It would be very helpful if the ISY had a global renaming featue (similar to word processing), where a phrase could be searched for and then replaced. So if I needed to rename all "MBRCon" references with "MBRCon1", I could do so easily. This would be especially helpful with keypads where there are several buttons on the same device. Thanks. Brignolo
I had a post a while ago requesting the ability to change the color of the type for the devices and scenes. That would help me identify groups of devices and scenes. Joe Link to comment
gsownsby
I like that idea too. Certainly sounds like a good enhancement. Link to comment
