Light turning off and on continuously.

Only one light in my house has been having issues - my front porch light.

Starting about 2 weeks ago it starts flickering off and on continuously. If I force it off, it goes off, but may come back on and start doing this again (not flickering, i mean literally off, on, off, on).

I opened the event viewer and 1 & 3 and nothing is being sent while this is happening.

I do have a camera that calls the REST API to turn it on when motion is detected, but the camera is not detecting motion. I also stopped the service that should be calling this and so it should stop, but it doesn't. Also I would expect to see something in the event viewer?

I am at a loss - any ideas?

What is the device? What is the load?

it is a SwitchLinc Dimmer controlling a single light - LED, max 15 watts. Light has worked for 1 year prior, and many lights similar to it have as well.

What's the result is you use a different bulb? Incandescent preferred as a test.

I would also say try a new bulb.

Electronics in LED Bulbs have been known to change or go bad after running for awhile.

If the reset SwitchLinc and new bulb act the same. It does sound like the SwitchLinc may have failed or you have developed a poor connection in the wiring.

I have several Cree bulbs that worked flawlessly at first but after a few month began to flicker somewhat when dimmed certain levels.
