Posted November 29, 200816 yr Hello I just received my first EZIO product (EZIO4O) and noticed that it has internal timers for turning off the relays after a set time. I don't want to add another controle system like the simplehomenet software and EZBridge to set them and was wondering if eventually the ISY will be able to set these timers. I didn't see anything mentioned in the forum about these timers. Thanks in advance Gary
November 30, 200816 yr Hi Gary, We are now trying to figure out how to support EZIO again as everything seems to be broken. Once we have this fixed, We will have the capabilities which will allow you to set the timers in EZIO. With kind regards, Michel Hello I just received my first EZIO product (EZIO4O) and noticed that it has internal timers for turning off the relays after a set time. I don't want to add another controle system like the simplehomenet software and EZBridge to set them and was wondering if eventually the ISY will be able to set these timers. August 16, 201015 yr Just installed an EZIO4O for use on my ISY using the latest 2.8.1 firmware, and still had to use SimpleHomeNet's utility to set the timers. I also had a problem with the ISY. If I turned on relay 0, the ISY marked relay 1 as being on, not relay 0 as expected. The physical output was correct.
August 16, 201015 yr Author Hi I also noticed that on the EZIO4O that the admin console doesn't match the relays. Example, if I turn on relay 2 relay 3 shows on and so on. Also firmware 2.8.1 Gary
August 16, 201015 yr This is a problem with the admin console display, the correct relay is being controlled. Also if the output relay is controlled through a Scene the correct relay state is indicated.
August 16, 201015 yr Hi Gary, thanks to LeeG, the problem has been verified ... we are working on a fix which should hopefully be in the next release. With kind regards, Michel
August 16, 201015 yr You can right click on the EZIO4O node and Query which will correct the admin display.
August 17, 201015 yr Can this device be programed to activate the sprinklers every Nth day (ie. Every 3rd day, 5th day, etc)?
August 17, 201015 yr I assume the question is in the context of the EZFlora Irrigation controller. The EZFlora hardware does not have that type of logic. When zones are activated is controlled by whatever automation software/firmware is controlling it.
August 17, 201015 yr I just wanted to thank LeeG for helping us fix the EZIO relay status issue which should be available in our 2.8.2 release. Thank you LeeG! With kind regards, Michel
