raymondh Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I would like to have a program execute when my Elk alarm disarms from a stay instant status only. So for example, if the alarm is disarmed from an armed away status, don't run. Is there a way to do this!
Scottmichaelj Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) Yes this is done as a program. Have one program set the ISY variable to 1 when you arm to away mode. Then when have a program that when you disarm the alarm it sets the variable back to zero. Then have a program when it sees the variable change from 1 back to 0 run the program you want. You do have to the Elk module for the ISY. Hope this helps. Edited September 6, 2015 by huddadudda
DennisC Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I would suggest having the Elk close a phantom relay and have the ISY trigger off of the relay closing/opening. This would also require the Elk module, but I think it will trigger quicker.
