Portal returns error when I try to add a program.

Whenever I select a program from Spoken Nodes and Scenes, I get an error "Error Returned" on the portal page.

No issues adding devices or scenes. Just programs.

I get somewhat the same thing since yesterday evening. The return I get is "Device already has a spoken" and doesn't add the program. I'm thinking, since I'm not the only one this is affecting, that the Connectivity\Amazon Echo\Program section has a problem.

Still getting this same thing this morning but for me it just says "error returned".

I can't add a program either. I get an error message that says "Device already has a spoken".

Hello all,

Sincere apologies. This was a bug introduced when we added support for multiple Echo accounts. It's now fixed.

With kind regards,

Michel

Hmm, i just tried adding a program again and received the same error. Sorry, It's working. I didn't noticed the ones I tried to add earlier are now present.

Could it be a valid error this time, where there is really a spoken of that name? Please use the search to see if that spoken is already used or not.

If it is not used, and it still does not work, please PM me your UUID along the spoken you are trying to use.

Thanks,

Benoit.

Benoit,

It's all working correctly now. I just went hog wild adding Hue scenes using programs without any issues.

Thanks for the great work!,

Phil

Interesting. So the ones I tried adding earlier are now there without me readding them. I re-ran discovery just now but the Echo won't run the programs. I have "arm alarm" and "disarm alarm" and if I speak "arm alarm" or "run arm alarm" or "run program arm alarm" Alexa asks me each time to set the alarm for ;(

So I added some more spoken terms for those programs that didn't include alarm in the hopes that Alexa is just getting confused. When I use those alternates, I get a funny hi low beep from Alexa and nothing else.

OK. I guess you have to stick the the "turn on" and then program name. I can live with that but no spoken phrase can include "alarm" in it at all. Alexa will intercept this and ask you for an alarm time. Major bummer and means I won't be able to integrate commands to my alarm system unless this is fixed.

@sorka: Instead of "alarm" use "security"?

As philtor suggests, use something with security, like "security system". When I say "Alexa, turn on security system", it works just fine.
