klabeeuw Posted January 8, 2009 Posted January 8, 2009 ISY and PLM do not communicate Had all installed since a month ago or so and all went fine In fact I like the concept of the product a lot. Had once a power failure (two weeks ago) and realized that I had to reboot all and all was fine Last Sunday had to unplug PLM. Upon reconnecting it all I had three solid greens and red error blinkinng on ISY. Did a reboot and all fine But now since Monday, whatever I try to do, I have all 3 green lights solid (Power, RX and TX) and have Error Blinking on ISY. Can not get it solved and can not connect to ISY over the network Any help would be greatly appreciated

I wished you had contacted our tech support line sooner so that you wouldn't have had to wait this long for a response. To be honest, something is horribly wrong that you have had to reboot your ISY every time. I do suspect a faulty PLM and/or a faulty ISY. Please do be kind enough to do the following (I do hope you have your last backup): 1. Factory reset ISY (http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ur_ISY-99i) 2. Restore your backup (File->Restore ISY) If this does not work, please contact us immediately for an RMA. If this works, however, I would still recommend turning the power on/off to your PLM a few times just to see how ISY reacts. Then, I would keep a close eye on this situation: ISY should never have to be rebooted. The lights are indeed flashing from left to right. But the sysem is keeping doing this (recycles through) but I do never get to a situation where only the MEM light starts flashing..... From the moment I releae the push.... I get right away back to the situation of 3 green solids and error blinking..... Maybe there is one last solution before an RMA..... Thanks a lot for your support. Again this is a super product... hope we can get over this hurdle to make this an all EXCELLENT.. Regards
ulrick65 Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I would call UDI tech support directly and let them walk you through it...it will be much quicker for you then waiting for replies from Michel, trying it, posting back, etc. They will spend time on the phone, log in if necessary, etc. and you will be done...either fixed or an RMA or whatever.
