diggler Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I have a micro module that controls the exhaust fan. The way it worked was if keypadlinc on button is 100% then wait 5 min turn on bathroom.exhaust fan else wait 15 min and turn bathroom exhaust fan off. Worked this way for over a year. Last month i noticed it stopped working. Today i decided to log in to isy and see why. When i oush the button isy does not show the keypadlinc as on, just shows off. If i turn the keypadlinc on in isy the program executes. Why would all of the audden isy not read the device status outside of manual querry? Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
mwester Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 One reason is that the link table in the KPL may have been corrupted/damaged. They do that, for unknown reasons. Use the admin console to read the device's link table, then use the compare button to see if it differs from what the ISY thinks it should be.
oberkc Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I generally assume problems like this are either comms issues or link database issues. If mwesters solution does not solve your problem, you may have some device or devices making Einstein communications difficult.
diggler Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Thx, ill look into it later Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
