mjpotts82 Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I bought a half dozen eco link motion sensors and when I add them to the ISY they are showing up as Binary Sensors. Is this normal? The problem that I have is I use the ISY as a zwave gateway for CQC automation software and if the sensors dont show up as motion sensors in the ISY they wont be seen as such in my software.
mjpotts82 Posted January 20, 2017 Author Posted January 20, 2017 Anyone? Thinking I might exclude and then include and see if I get a different result.
Michel Kohanim Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Hi mjpotts82 , Does the binary sensor actually respond to motion? With kind regards, Michel
mjpotts82 Posted January 20, 2017 Author Posted January 20, 2017 It does. Some but not all of them are reporting battery level as well.
IVB Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Any luck here? I want to try zWave motion sensors in a secondary location where wiring will be impossible to run, but I need the ISY to be able to detect motion in the room.
mjpotts82 Posted April 23, 2017 Author Posted April 23, 2017 They work fine in the isy. Not within CQC.
