Hi.

I would like to add Zwave in-out module to my install.

Found  MimoLite and Mimo2+.

Mimo2+ looks like a better device with 2in and 2 out signals and Zwave Plus.

Is Mimo2+ supported by ISY?

Thanks

The Momo2+ is not fully supported in any ISY v4+, only one relay is available. BTW, having two relays instead of one does not make it better-unless of course you need two relays B)

It does not work in 5.0.10. I have three of the Mimo2+ devices and they all only show up as a single relay in my ISY running 5.0.10.

Hi.

I just received my first Mimo2+. Included it to ISY.

It shows as:

_1      Multilevel Sensor and

_147  Binary Switch

I'm trying it with my NICE APPOLO 1050 gate opener.

1. Connected Sig1 to gate output- programed for gate MOVING.

2. Connected  Relay1 to gate input - programed for STEP operation.

I can control the gate operation with ISY so the switch part works but ISY does not sense the gate moving.

With the gate moving I can see SIG1 led on Mmo2+ control board change status (so it is receiving signal from gate) but ISY is not aware of it.

Gate motherboard has NC, COM, NO connections for output.

I tryed combination of NC+COM and NO+COM with same effect.

Is there anything else I should do?

P.S. I'm on 5.0.10- looks like multichannel is not working right with Mimo2+.

Thanks.

Hi.

I've tried:

1. Exclude from ISY

2. Factory reset Mimo

3. Include to ISY

NO change - same results.

Here is a log when querying the Mimo2+ Multilevel Sensor:

Hi.

Tried connecting bosch motion detector to Mimo2+.

I can see led coming on on Mimo board but nothing in ISY console.

It looks like this all the time.

I got the Mimo2+ to work with 4.6.1 and 4.6.2, but it provided only one input and output, so I opted for the less costly MimoLite.

Using 4.5.4, MimoLite works flawlessly.  Fortrezz has solid products as is the ISY994.  The ISY994 sees the MimoLite binary sensor, binary switch, multilevel sensor, power management, and pulse meter.

I am patiently awaiting V5 in hopes of full support for Mimo2+ (hint hint). Multi input/output device support would really help.  Two ins and two outs like the Mimo2+ would go a long way.

So since Mimo2+ is not fully supported and may never be, does anyone have any ideas for a multi input/output Z-Wave device that is compatible with the ISY994?

I am following this with great interest.  I just received 2 Mimo-lite devices which I willl use for automatic curtains that I hope to install next week. If I read the forum posts well, the Mimo-Lite should work with 5.0.10 but may not give instant status....  Am I correct ?

Posted

Yes...MimoLite worked first try for me.  I just need an additional in and out.

Instant Status report ????

When I added it to the ISY the following popped up:  binary sensor, binary switch, multilevel sensor, power management, and pulse meter.  I tested them all and they work.  All I am using is the sensor and switch.

I tested also and found it to work. I'll test again later and let you know.

I don't know if anybody noticed but my question was if Mimo2+ is supported by ISY and then the problems I was having with it.

Not about how well MimoLite works with ISY.

Posted

I did. I was taken aback when the responses changed to the MimoLite, which is fully supported. I really need two Mimo2+'s to replace four I/O Lincs. I sprang for two MimiLites after finding, as you did, that the ISY supports only one of the two I/O abilities of the Mimo2+.

I've been holding off buying two more MimoLite's hoping for a solution, but security is currently more important.

Sorry to have "hijacked" your question by asking about the Mimolite.

I don't know about the OP, but I consider it fitting as the ISY doesn't fully support the MIMO2+ and anyone interested in the MIMO2+ is now able to find and alternative B)

Could not resist the comment....As we all know, Mimo2+ full functionality does not work in the current 4 or 5 Beta.

Once again, I am patiently awaiting the released version 5 in hopes of full support for Mimo2+ (hint hint). Multi input/output device support would really be nice, two ins and two outs.

We had to add custom support for other FortrezZ devices, so its quite possible we'll have to do the same for the mimo2+

Sorry to bring this thread up again, but the Mimo2+ is the perfect device for my sump monitoring solution......

Has anyone got this to work on 5.0.10? Chris, if not will the next drop of 5.x properly support this device?

I need two inputs, and don’t want to use two devices. One to take the output of a current sensor and the other an analog voltage driven from a liquid level sensor...

(the design is to not affect the autonomy of the existing sump system - if any monitoring device fails it simply cannot affect the regular operation of the sump pump....)

Thanks!

Michael.
