Google home with Fan or Thermostat

Has anyone gotten Google home to work win the FanLinc or Thermostat???

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but my two Google Home devices work generally well with my 4 Zwave fan switches as well as with my 2 Nest thermostats. Sometimes GH does not recognize my speech and I need to repeat command.

I don't know about the portal, but IFTTT can do all REST commands.  So, yes, you setup an IFTTT account, link it to your google home, and use a webhook to set whatever you want on the ISY.

Using the portal I control the fanlincs by adding spokens for the low, medium and high scenes, that's the only way I know of. Thermostats are not directly supported thru the portal, Michel has said they are working with Google on it.

Thanks for the info! I was able to set up a single fan variable and then use the spoken "set to X percent" to set the variable. Behind the scenes in the ISY, I have a state variable that sets the Fan speed to off, low, med, high.

apostoloakisl,

Not sure what you mean by :

Google Home is natively supported by ISY Portal. Why do we need to use IFTTT?

With kind regards,

Michel

I already had IFTTT running before the portal.
