All Activity as default

How can I set All Activity as the default? Each time I view New Content that become the default.

 All Activity clearly shows all messages I've read or not and especially those I've responded to in the event I want to add make a correction to.

I'm not certain I understand what you're asking, but please see this post in another topic:

Note that you can also define an entirely custom Stream by clicking that menu choice in the "My Activity Streams" nav bar link.

Is that what you are referring to?

If not, can you clarify where you are seeing the default "switch"?

Select Activity, All Activity. What you see is what I prefer as the default. Read a message, any message. "All Activity," no longer appears. The only way to return is to select both Activity and All Activity again.

If I've understood what you mean, unfortunately no, you'll have to do it as you noted; Activity -> All Activity. What I suggested would let you define a custom Stream you can reach with just one click, however.
