johnstonf Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 I got a Z-wave Fibaro KeyFOB FGKF-601 and i can add it to ISY, and run VERY limited couple of buttons in a program. (PDF manual and photo are attached below...) After adding, it then showing a bunch of nodes: ZW 014 Wall Controller ZW 014 Scene Button 1 (to 14... so 14 rows) ZW 014 Low Battery 1 Then, after programming and over time... pushing various buttons, it added: ZW 014 Multilevel Switch 3 ZW 014 Multilevel Switch 5 ZW 014 Multilevel Switch 7 ZW 014 Multilevel Switch 9 ZW 014 Multilevel Switch 11 Is there any hope to get this added into ISY properly? @Michel Kohanim? It seems to be fairly highly respected (Fibaro)... It sure would be nice to have the 30plus functions it is supposed to do... (even 12 or 18 or 24??) Fred FGKF-601-EN-T-v1.1.pdf
lilyoyo1 Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 What firmware are you running? Make sure you are on 5.0.12 if you want to use multi channel devices. With that said, from reading the manual, the functions are enabled by setting the parameters that you want to use in the isy.
johnstonf Posted March 29, 2018 Author Posted March 29, 2018 i have 5.0.12, but beyond that I'm not sure how to set up parameters...Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
lilyoyo1 Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 Right click on the device, you'll see zwave at the bottom click on where it says parameters. You'll then follow the manual and input whatever parameters you want to use to achieve your desired result
johnstonf Posted March 31, 2018 Author Posted March 31, 2018 To explain a little further... I created a YouTube video of setup with ISY... -It doesn't show the 6th button -I was able to get parameters to the KeyFob, but it's only for basic functions (what the keypresses do) -It sets up strangely (it shows a bunch of nodes, then adds more as buttons are pressed To me, it seems like the ISY isn't doing something right in the process. Fred
Michel Kohanim Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Hi Fred, Thanks for the video. Functions that are described during inclusion are manufacturer specific and usually require setting up parameters as you have done. The only hope is to get one of these and see what we can do with it. With kind regards, Michel

With kind regards, Michel Seems like a really nice, light (hang around neck on a lancer etc) with lots of functions if we can get it working with isy. They mention multi-nodes support and that it should work with any z-wave controller. What would cause nodes to change once they have been included, and inclusion mode is no longer being ran?FredSent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk
Michel Kohanim Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 Hi Fred, They are not changing. As ISY received events for things that have not been included, ISY creates nodes for them. With kind regards, Michel
johnstonf Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 So how would you interpret that only the 6th button is not creating a node, but i do see the TX/RX lights flash away when i press the button? Attached is what i got on the log (event viewer) when pressing button#6
Michel Kohanim Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Hi Fred, I don't know. That's why we ordered one to test. This said, however, it seems that the key = 6. So, the question is whether or not you get key = 6 for any other events. With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Hi @johnstonf, Yes, and reproduced the problem. Working on it. With kind regards, Michel

Michel Kohanim Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Hi johnstonf, I am hoping that a fix will be in 5.0.13. With kind regards, Michel
johnstonf Posted July 12, 2018 Author Posted July 12, 2018 Hi @Michel Kohanim, Do you know if this Fibaro support made it into 5.0.13? Thanks!
Michel Kohanim Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 @johnstonf, A box full of sundry of esoteric devices is being tested now that 5.0.13 is out. We shall keep you posted with what we find with compatibility. With kind regards, Michel
