matapan Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 How about other alarm systems, like GE, ITI, etc? Any basic support? The basic principles of operation are similar. Good ways to "hack" into an existing system? The problem with Elk is that alot of professional monitoring services don't support it.
Michel Kohanim Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 matapan, We are working on it but very slowly due to other pressing requirements. With kind regards, Michel How about other alarm systems, like GE, ITI, etc? Any basic support? The basic principles of operation are similar. Good ways to "hack" into an existing system? aartech Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 [quote="matapan" The problem with Elk is that alot of professional monitoring services don't support it. For what it's worth, Elk supports all the common monitoring communication types. The problem is many monitoring companies are not familiar with the Elk systems. But I guarantee if you were to work with an Elk installer in your area they would be able to help you have your Elk system monitored if you chose to go that way. Cheers Robert
