Scyto Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I haven't bee active in a while, occasional lurking, mostly because of lack of forward movement on the ISY versions. (nodelink has been thing that keeps me coming back). Still happy with the ISY, love the Alexa integration, just renewed my portal sub (hmm weren't we supposed to get some kind of discount if we had the network module?!). anyhoo, i guess ISY have been working on lots, whats upcoming? Is 5.x in sight?
Michel Kohanim Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 Scyto, Very many exciting things including 5.0 which is almost at beta and Cloud based Polyglot for cloud based devices such that you wouldn't need a Raspberry Pi. Discounts were for those who wanted to switch and only for the initial subscription. With kind regards, Michel
Scyto Posted June 7, 2018 Author Posted June 7, 2018 Thanks Michel I am looking forward to the beta release, i am still on 5.0.10. I am hoping the z-wave multi channel devices are fully supported? And maybe it willfix my schlage locks issue we never solved... my workaround in the end was to have a vera as a secondary controller and do the lock inlcusion on that. I have an old polyglot setup from years ago i am a little lost on how to move to new polyglot - is it just blow it away and start again at this point (which is ok by me).
Michel Kohanim Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 Hi Scyto, Yes multi channel is fixed. With kind regards, Michel

Yes, I recently had to renew my portal license at the horribly undiscounted rate of $20 for two years! ? Yes, although you can have them installed side by side. Install Polyglot 2.0 and then install your desired nodeservers from the Nodeserver Store. Just don't run both Polyglot v1 and Polyglot 2.0 at the same time.

You will probably want to start again there too by deleting the nodeserver configurations and rebooting. While the way profiles and the interface works didn’t change between Polyglot v1 and v2, but the profiles for each nodeserver probably evolved, and node addresses may have changed. Yes, this is more of a pain; if you have nodeserver nodes in programs and/or scenes, they will have to be replaced.
