kzboray Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 I have a couple of ELK M1 installs that are also using the latest 5.13c code base and I am no longer able to set the alarm arm status from AC. I can disarm the system but the arm buttons do not seem to respond. Can anyone confirm this before I report it as a bug?
Michel Kohanim Posted August 14, 2018 Posted August 14, 2018 Hi kzboray, What do you get in the event viewer? With kind regards, Michel

I just gave mine a try, and I can both arm and disarm from the AC (using the ELK toobar across the top). I'm on 5.0.13C. kzboray Posted August 15, 2018 Author Posted August 15, 2018 Thanks @Bumbershoot, I'll have to look at the access code again. It's weird that on both I can disarm, and see all zones stats, but arm away and arm stay don't work. Thank you again.
kzboray Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 @Bumbershoot I wanted to follow up on this with you. I think there is a problem and I believe it's related to ElkRP2 Remote Programming Software (2.0.36) (released 12/22/2017) and the ElkRP2 dbScript Update (released 5/2/2018). After running the dbscript update, arming is no longer controllable from AC. Also if there is more than a single Keypad installed only the first one shows up in AC. Have you updated to 2.0.36 and run the dbscript update and can you confirm this?

I think I'm likely to leave it at 2.0.34, given what you're seeing. I only have one keypad, so I can't comment on that aspect for you. Good luck!
rccoleman Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Interesting - I hadn't seen the update. The comment for the "dbScript update" is Quote Updates default values for M1 in the ElkRP2 database files. For ElkRP2 version 2.0.36 software installed prior to 5/3/2018 So perhaps it just changed some of the settings. One counterintuitive one that will affect the ISY's ability to talk to the Elk is unchecking the "Access" permission: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY-994i_Series_INSTEON:ELK_Security_Module#Configuring_an_Elk_User_with_an_access_code_to_use_from_the_ISY
kzboray Posted August 16, 2018 Author Posted August 16, 2018 @rccoleman I need to pull some event logs for Michel, but I'm thinking the same thing. The db structure changed with the dbscript patch and it's messing up the ISY's ability to read the right fields.
