brianp6621 Posted October 23, 2018 Posted October 23, 2018 So normally if I have a single device, I just leave it as a scene and give it a voice name. However when you have multiple switches in a scene (a 3 way setup) how would you then also go about dimming? You can't dim a scene so then you have to create a different name for the specific device/switch and dim it specifically, but then the other switches/status is not in sync (don't reflect the on/dimmed status) What is the best way to handle this?
Michel Kohanim Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Hi @brianp6621, You can dim a scene: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=ISY_Portal_Amazon_Echo_Integration_V3#Scenes With kind regards, Michel
brianp6621 Posted October 24, 2018 Author Posted October 24, 2018 I am using the mobilinc portal but it seems the same thing applies there. I have always been trying percentages not just set to dim (I don't know what that would result in) so I'll try it later.
ScottAvery Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 It works out to 9% change per dim/brighten call to a scene through the UDI portal. I'm not sure if that triple pulse also works with mobilinc - it may just be 3% each.
