silverton38
I can not seem to z-wave upgrade on an ISY that I just had a new dongle added. I keep getting this error (below). Do I have a bad Dongle? The ISY version 5.0.14.
rccoleman
There’s no need to try to upgrade the firmware on the new dongle. It’s fine as-is.
Techman
The firmware that's currently on the dongle is current. There is no later version available.
silverton38
I have never had this issue with 7 different ISYs with z-wave. I always go through the upgrade when I first set it up. I also factory reset. I think I just ended up with a bad dongle.
rccoleman
There’s already a similar thread about this: Unable to update Z-Wave firmware - System too busyhttps://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?share_fid=23986&share_tid=25049&url=https%3A%2F%2Fforum%2Euniversal-devices%2Ecom%2Findex%2Ephp%3F%2Ftopic%2F25049-Unable-to-update-Z-Wave-firmware---System-too-busy&share_type=tThe bottom line is that there’s nothing to update to at this time, and what you’re seeing isn’t specific to you or your dongle. Just use it as-is.
Michel Kohanim
@silverton38, as others have correctly noted, you do not need to upgrade the firmware. Also, please do make sure you have 5.0.14 installed. With kind regards, Michel

I will try a factory reset and see if it continues. I will work in email if it needs to be replaced.
