Motion Sensor 2 Ongoing Issue.

I have a ISY994i on 5.0.15A and I am experiencing a ongoing issue with the Motion Sensor 2.  I can add it to the system just fine but after a random period of time (maybe a day) it will quit activating a scene. I am sure it is not a comm issue because I can press the set button to turn the scene on and off from the MS2 location.  It seems any motion that is detected is not being sent to the ISY.  Should a motion event show up in the event viewer?  The event viewer shows my set button presses but not motion events when this issue is present. I have tried 3 MS2"s and all have the same issue.  Am I correct that a motion detection event should look the same as a set button press on the MS2 in the event viewer? I read a another post from a member with the same issue.

What are your Motion settings as set at in the ISY configuration?

Are you initiating motion during the time conditions at which the sensor is set to detect motion?

As a test set the MS II to detect motion "always" and retest.    Keep in mind that you will need to wake up the MSII to get it to accept your new settings . (which could be difficult if is not currently reporting motion )

I would recommend temporarily powering one of your devices from USB power while you debug your issue.

The MS2 worked for 1 week since my last post.  Today it has stopped triggering the scene with a KPL and a light.   Would like UDI to ring in on this issue if possible?

You would have to notify them or do something to get their attention. Not every post is read.  Try the '@'+nickname method in a post.

When was the last time you factory reset the MS II?
What is your UI version?
I don't see you pinging UDI using the forum notification method. They aren't mind readers.
If you are only using scenes with the MS II then ISY is not involved.

Have you read any of the responses here?
