upstatemike Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 Next time I buy anything from a vendor in California I'm going to pay the extra for 2-day shipping so USPS will at least have some sort of delivery time obligation. I have never seen anything like this with USPS shipping from anywhere else in the country.

I have never seen anything like this with USPS shipping from anywhere else in the country. Yeah I try to avoid buying anything from California. It's murderously expensive for shipping to Canada and takes forever. If I have to buy from the US, I try to buy from NY or NJ-based vendors. I normally buy my UDI stuff from Aartech ( www.aartech.ca ) but obviously that was not an option for Polisy pre-order.Sent from my SM-N9500 using Tapatalk
upstatemike Posted January 3, 2020 Posted January 3, 2020 I was just reviewing the update emails and noticed that the last entry keeps getting a revised timestamp. I suspect it never really left Santa Clarita
Brian H Posted January 6, 2020 Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) That maybe a normal set of messages. I get the same information with some of my tracked USPS packages. Tells me it is moving in their system but no details where it is going next. I think it may have to do with what type the shipment is being tracked. Others give me every movement it is going through. Like In, sorted , then left that location. Some of my Ebay First Class with tracking are even less helpful. I get the Departed the USPS Regional Facility and the next one is the it was delivered to my mail box. Edited January 6, 2020 by Brian H 1

carealtor Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 Mine is taking in the sites in Encino, CA today. That's a new one.

You could be claiming a lost package that never existed.
giesen Posted January 7, 2020 Posted January 7, 2020 FYI I finally saw movement on mine this morning (after no updates since December 29th) when it cleared customs. I'm hoping to see it soon. Sent from my SM-N9500 using Tapatalk

upstatemike Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Good question! But seriously if somebody could tell me the size and color of the box these were shipped in I want to try to file a missing package claim to see if that motivates USPS to actually move it out of Santa Clarita. 2

I recall that mine came in a simple cardboard box, less than a foot on each side and around 4 inches tall.

carealtor Posted January 12, 2020 Posted January 12, 2020 Mine shows it has bounced back and forth between Encino/Santa Clarita and Sacramento five times now. Of course, it's entirely possible it never left Encino/Santa Clarita at all. After 3 weeks, it now shows that it is in my town and to arrive tomorrow by 8 pm. We'll see. Fingers crossed.
upstatemike Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Mine shows it passed through Rochester Saturday which would normally mean delivery today but no current info in the tracking log so we will have to see what happens. I have gotten no feedback from my missing package submiossion... guess that was a waste of time. (When it got scanned in Rochester it should have flagged something that said it had been located)
