Teken Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Moments ago I refreshed the web browser on a computer system I'm using and a message from another forum member popped up. On any other day seeing a pop up message from a forum member isn't a surprise or new. But, one that was sent to me on April 04, 2016 - is . . . Lastly, with the new SSO I am not able to login as the system continues to insist the user name and password are incorrect?!?
Geddy Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I've not had one from the past trigger an alert, but I typically only use two computers to read the forums so maybe there was a funky cache page in memory somewhere. Or maybe it was an alert taking you to a message that started in 2016, but there was just a reply added today. Just inter-webs ghosts. As for SSO - are you using the "green" button on the right to sign in with ISY Portal? (see below image). If you're just trying to sign in with "display name or email address" on the left I'm assuming that it would be your typical forum only password. As I too cannot sign on that way so I just use the button of "Sign in with ISY Portal" to use the SSO. A little bit much, but I get the reasoning behind it.

I tried both and as you would expect received the all too famous *You're Locked Out* so wait blah blah blah. I gave up after trying a dozen times on this new computer system but have no issues accessing the forum on a Windows 7 Ultimate / Enterprise system. TapaTalk seems fine minus the fact PM's don't seem to be coming in timely or at all to my cell. A couple of forum members sent me a group message and I literally received it two days later?!? I can't say how a message from April 04, 2016 could possibly show up now on this laptop. This machine didn't even exist in my home until two years ago and was securely wiped and loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate. What's odd none of the other computer systems had this issue and two of them had the forum up and running too!

Wife just received a package "gone postal" yesterday, shipped from amazon about three weeks ago. Got a notice it was lost and sent third unit, which she received a week later. It was a replacement, for a replacement, VR headset. So now we have PMs that have "gone postal".
