Using ISY994 without a web browser

Featured Replies

It seems that none of my web browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Chromium, Edge) support Java applets any more.

The only way I can access my ISY994 console is through Internet Explorer11 on an aging Windows 7 laptop.

Is there a way to do this without going through a web browser?

Are you talking about the admin panel in a web browser? I've never used that. I typically use the admin Java console that you download and run.

The only web access I use is through the portal in order to configure Google, Alexa, or just access my device to turn things on or off.

ISY994i Admin Console does not use a browser at all. You just need to have java installed in your Win or iOS system.
See the latest releases thread for links to download the latest installation software to launch the admin console.

IE 11 will only access half the websites now.  I use Edge now but have taken a liking to FireFox and it has less bugs than Edge and Chrome.
