Cleared java and went back to launcher, it found the ISY but not type or version. Went looking to see what is different between the computer which is working and my new one. Both are Win10 pro x64, old one running java 8.0 261, new one 8.0 281. Found the following difference. Does ISY care about the Architecture? You could try deleting the 32 bit version and installing the 64 bit version. Have you tried everything in this troubleshooting guide: https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#ISY_Launcher_cannot_find_ISY At this point, I think you need to open a support ticket with UD and ask them to remote in to your computer and ask them to assist in figuring out what is going on.

I don't think it will know that until you've logged in once if you've used the add button to add. What happens when you open the admin console from the entry? (disclaimer: I didn't go clear my java cache and test what happens, but I'm pretty sure if you've manually added an ISY to finder you have to use that entry once to populate the rest of the entry)
