'Options' to turn off the dimmer switch LED, but can you do it in programming?

I see in the ISY994i you can set 'Options' to turn off the LED in dimmer switches. Right now I have a program that runs twice a day to change the brightness of the switches, but I'd like to also at midnight to turn the LED off completely. Is it possible ?

Keypads can be turned completely off, but the LEDs on the regular switches don't completely turn off even if set to zero.  They will be very very dim, but your darkness adjusted eyes will be able to see them.

Yes, but KPL LEDs can only be turned on and off using scenes. Create a scene for each button and manipulate each scene. Dimming is only universal across the whole KPL and can be done by program.

I think OP's question is about back lights and side LEDs.  I agree with @carealtor backlight set to 0 on/0 off turns the backlighting off for 6 and 8 button keypads.  Normal switches even 0% leaves the side LEDs very dim for whatever reason.

I used to have ridiculously complicated programs that turned off the backlights on 6 button keypads when all buttons were off (It never made sense to me why OFF lit up... The programs were kludgly and created lots of traffic.  Ultimately I got rid of such programming and used a dot of gorilla tape to block all the LEDs on 6 button keypad OFF buttons-- this solution has been much more effective than the original programmatic solution.

Yes the dimming switch LEDs on the side, by setting them to 0% at night still light up. BUT you can turn off the LEDs completely by manually going to 'Options' in ISY994i. Just wondering how we can do that through programming. And why haven't people complained about this years ago?

I don't mind them in the general area of the house to be slightly lit up at night, but in the bedroom I want them to be all the way off at night.

I'm assuming someone has and there's either a reason it can't be done programmatically or it's not something enough people have cared to do

two possible suggestions:  both involve the bottom or OFF light only.  take the paddle off by removing the 4 itty bitty screws, either add a piece of tape the the very bottom OFF LED and/or remove the section of the light pipe on the paddle.  (the light pipe is two piece, OFF is a separate piece from the others, gripe it with pliers  and just pull it out.)  Now put the paddle back on.

My KPL is a 6 LED unit and has no side light LEDs. I can se an LED under the off lens crack but cannot tell if it is on in a medium dim room. That may be a PITA in a bedroom since it may be staring right at you in a sleeping room.

All the other LEDs can be turned off with scenes but I have never tried to turn of the "Off" button LED. I avoid KPLs dues to the past ALL ON problems, the alternating status errors, the extreme pricing, the ugly looks against other Decora switches, and the confusion generated to non-technical people trying to tap tiny buttons without proper labelling. I can do almost any function with a simple SwitchLinc and Alexa vocal control.

As an example... I use one Switchlinc dimmer in my ensuite bathroom for main lighting (fully dimmble),  On/OFF/ & 7 colour changes in strip lighting around the tub on the floor (double tap Off), of the same room. I also use presets for ultra dim mood lighting for bathing, using the same switch.
