TJF1960 Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 Upgrade went great. All poly nodes (from Polisy) and nodelink (from rpi4) working great with ISY (in Polisy). Thank you UDI team! Tim
mbski Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 (edited) Hello, I have tested isy on polisy, mainly scenes, programs, and devices, which are working great. Thanks UDI team. I have not moved anything over from my current isy box. So, I have a few questions. · Currently using no Z-wave devices. · Current isy box version is 5.016C – 2413S plm · Current isy on polisy 5.04A – 2413U plm 1. Once isy box and isy on polisy have the same version #s, could a back-up from isy box be restored onto the isy on polisy? 2. Can you run P3 on the isy box? 3. If P3 can run on isy box, what version # is required? 4. Can you run P3 on 2 separate isy’s at the same time? 5. Would you recommend I update isy box to 5.3.4 test build? Thank you in advance, Edited August 4, 2021 by mbski

No, the ISY 994 hardware is not capable of running any version of Polyglot. PG3 will only run on a Polisy. 3 hours ago, mbski said: 4. Can you run P3 on 2 separate isy’s at the same time? Polyglot version 3 does support managing node servers on multiple ISY's. However, you need to switch between them as it can only display the dashboard for a single ISY. You could have multiple browser windows open for PG3 and each could show the dashboard for a different ISY. 1
tazman Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 I got my 2413U and finally got around to try ISY on Polysi but it will not install for me but seems like there is a problem where the isy pkg is being hosted??
Michel Kohanim Posted August 9, 2021 Author Posted August 9, 2021 @tazman, What exactly is the issue? Do you get any errors when you start isy (sudo service isy start)? With kind regards, Michel 1

With kind regards, Michel This is what I get when I run that which I did not know to do before. [admin@polisy ~]$ sudo service isy start Password: Setting permissions for ISY directories/files udx is running as pid 1133. you can disable uftdi driver by adding isy_load_uftdi=NO in /etc/rc.conf kldload: can't load uftdi.ko: No such file or directory /usr/local/etc/rc.d/isy: WARNING: failed precmd routine for isy
Michel Kohanim Posted August 9, 2021 Author Posted August 9, 2021 @tazman sudo pkg upgrade -f FreeBSD-kernel-polisy sudo shutdown -r now With kind regards, Michel 1

mbking Posted August 15, 2021 Posted August 15, 2021 Any one else having problems saving state variables? I can enter them and then use them in a program, but if I exit the Admin Console and then log back in, they're gone. Mark 1
Michel Kohanim Posted August 15, 2021 Author Posted August 15, 2021 All related to case-sensitive file system (including email + network resource + backup/restore). Please stay tuned. Should be fixed by mid next week. With kind regards, Michel 3
