I see no way to associate the two. There is only one polyglot2 instance running on Polisy, you currently have it pointed to your ISY, you can redirect it to ISY on Polisy. Polyglot2 can only support one instance of ISY, either the 994 or ISY on Polisy but not both. Polyglot3 has more options and I'm not entirely up to speed on it. 1

To access Polisy (ISY) you use the ISY Launcher application (Java based) Your existing ISY as well as the new Polisy ISY will both be listed. If you don't see the Polisy ISY listed. Clear the java cache and see if that helps. Yes, I can access ISY on Polisy, that is not the issue. I am trying to add ISY on Polisy to Polyglot to associate nodeservers with ISY on Polisy. Michel's post above indicated to use the ISY address in a browser. That isn't working for me. As you indicated above, I tried using the Launcher (cleared Java cache), but still can not associate Polyglot for the new instance of ISY on Polisy. There is still something I am not understanding.

Are you saying that adding nodeservers to ISY on Polisy is not possible while the ISY 994 is still in production and using nodeservers? 1

Yes, PG2 can only be pointed to one ISY. PG3 supports nodeservers on more than one ISY at a time. 2

A simple admin console | device restore on each device fixed that up in every case that I rechecked. Took about 30 minutes for my whole system. Now I unplugged my ISY and stopped confusing the ISY Finder! One small step for home automation. One giant step for ISY! @Michel KohanimToday I found all four of my IOLincs set to momentary outputs instead of latching, as was selected after my ISY backup Restore into polisy. This was found due to my buzzLinc (thanks Stu for the IOlinc with beeper taped to the front) I use for home security alerts and warnings of alarm time on as well as entrance zone violation warning timing. Insted of leaving and returning bepping for 45 seconds it only beeped for the momentary 0.5 seconds each. No program errors could be found but the "options" wer found to be set Momentary. Check three other IOLincs they were also set toe Momentary instead of Latched. Possible logic state reversal in polisy to ISY fro IOLincs?
Michel Kohanim Posted November 26, 2021 Author Posted November 26, 2021 @larryllix, Are you saying that when you set them to latching, they automatically revert to momentary? With kind regards, Michel
larryllix Posted November 26, 2021 Posted November 26, 2021 @larryllix, Are you saying that when you set them to latching, they automatically revert to momentary? With kind regards, MichelNo. During my backup ISY and Restore same image to Polisy, all units had their contact options set to momentary, not at continuous as they were left, and being used in ISY. Polisy showed continuous, in all status page cases (4) but when each unit was queried the option switched to Momentary. Each option was corrected to Continuous and has appeared to stay.Something in the cross backup/restore coding.Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
Michel Kohanim Posted November 28, 2021 Author Posted November 28, 2021 @larryllix, Thank you very much for reporting it. Would you be kind enough to do one more experiment? Right mouse click on any one of those IOLincs and choose | Restore Device. Does it go back to momentary? With kind regards, Michel

The restore did not seem to affect the options. Links were all exact, according to the compares.Being away I have no admin console access at this time.Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk

larryllix Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 @larryllix, Thank you very much! We'll take it from here. With kind regards, MichelThanks! I had a further thought that could be a side effect of the endian switch in option bits and I just got caught violating your no-restore ISY/polisy recommendations.Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk
randyth Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 FYI, I can confirm that the SNI support fix in 5.2 fixed the Network Resources issues I reported earlier in this thread. 1
