PG3 - DysonPureCool Node Server

So finally got around to installing PG3.  I installed one of the free node servers no problem.  Then linked PG3 to my portal account and purchased the DysonPureCool node server.  So far so good.  Went to install it but it will not install (I did purchase it and $10 hit my credit card), so I know that piece worked.  This is what the log says.  Doesnt mean anything to me.  Thoughts on how I get to install this Node Server?

PS. there wasn't a PG3 DysonPureCool Node Server Forum topic so posting here.

Any help appreciated.

So what do we do if a Node Server we paid for doesn't work and there is no (obvious) way to contact the developer?  Not sure how to even contact the DysonPureCool Node Server owner (Gordon Larsen)?  Is he on this forum?  Right now it doesn't install.  @Michel Kohanim

@glarsen has several nodeservers, and has always been responsive.

@Bumbershoot Thank You for pointing me in the right direction.  Will wait to hear from @glarsen

For future enhancements on PG3 would be great if there was a link in the node server store to the prefered contact method of the Node Server developer.  Would also be nice to eventually have a space for folks to rate (1 to 5 stars) and also comment  on node servers so one can look at the community feedback before buying a node server.  Understand this is still Alpha, just some future suggestions, if UDI really wants this to scale, this is key, as I am sure UDI doesn't want to be doing customer service and support for the 100s of node servers. @bpwwer

Appreciate everyone's hard work on this, this is an awesome step forward with PG3.

@jwagner010, sorry for the late reply, I didn't know that this thread existed, or i would have been following it.

That looks for some reason like PG3 doesn't like something in the nodeserver installation.  Could you please PM the pg3 logfile to me?  I'll take a look at it.

To Close this out, Gordon corrected the problem and the node server is up and running.  Thank You.  Working well.

@glarsenNot big concerns but thought I would ask:

  1. I have a Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool Cryptomic (PH02) so selected it as a DEVICETYPEPUREHUMIDIFYCOOL = "358".  Assume that is the right device type?

  2. The Node Server shows the current humidity percentage but there is nowhere to control humidity:

    • On/Off

    • Auto/manual

    • If Manual the Target relative humidity

  3. For Oscillation only allows you to set it at On or Off not  Off, 45, 90 or Breeze per the remote

Sorry, as the nodeServer name and docs imply, it only supports the PureCool. I have no means of testing any changes that support another model as I only have a TP07. I can try making some changes for you to test, but it might take some time.

I had planned to eventually add further settings for the oscillation function when time permits.

Got it.  There are so many forks of the 'unofficial' API given Dyson doesn't support anything but their app.  I know xKing supported oscillation in his PG2 version which stopped working when the second factor authentication was introduced.  Either way will look out for updates and happy to test anything you need on a PH02 if helpful.
