jasonl99 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I keep seeing that I need to "clear my java cache" when I upgrade to a new version, but I've never seen anything that explains what this is (and I didn't want to comb through the 6000 or so posts that match that search ) Is this a browser function or a java function? In Windows, the Java Control panel app has a "Temporary Internet Files" that says: "Files you use in Java applications are stored in a special folder for quick execution later. Only advanced users should delete files or modify these settings." If I click "view" I am given an option to delete files. Is this what's meant by clearing the java cache? Is there any browser-related clearing that needs to be done as well? Quote
Brian H Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Link to the information. Yes it is in the Java Applet in the Control Panel. http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... Java_Cache Quote
