New Polisy Pro - ethernet not working?

Hi,

Today, I attempted to start my conversion from my ISY994 to Polisy Pro.  I did the back ups, powered Polisy, changed the password, etc.  I accidentally followed the instructions for OS below 13, however, Terminal ran through and said everything was already up to date.

It rebooted and I have not yet been able to connect again. It's not showing up on my Network either. I can see that it was there, but it's grayed out as if disconnected. The single green light is on the unit. I've tried holding the reset button and nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

What port do you have the Ethernet cable plugged into? Does it show in your router? Are you using the isy launcher

It's at the port closest to the serial port. It is not showing up on my router. I've tried in the ISY Launcher as well as Safari, Edge, and Chrome with the IP address that was shown prior. I also tried https://polisy on all three browsers.

UPDATE: I can currently see it on my network, but cannot access in any method.

I set it to a fixed IP earlier and just removed that setting and it popped back up when I reconnected the ethernet cable, to the previous IP coincidentally.

EDIT: 5 min later, no longer on network

Hey Mr. Bill, I actually opened one this morning. Michel thinks it had to do with the BIOS and is sending a chip to add to the board. Hopefully that get's me up and running.

Now I need to either order a serial-PLM cable as my PLM never actually came with (I checked the box), or I can take the chance and get the connector posted in another thread for ~$4. Decisions decisions.

Get the connector.... it's easier and faster... here's the pin conversion:

OK, so I am now up and running!

With that said, I did order the connector as well as a $7 serial to ethernet cable. The adapter just looked clunky to me, so I thought the cable would be more aesthetically appeasing. lol

I attempted to cut off the existing and tried remapping, but was unsuccessful. So, for now, the connector is being utilized.
