Adam Ant Posted April 3, 2022 Share Posted April 3, 2022 Hello! I am having an issue with zwave devices reverting back to “default” action within scenes. I am positive I changed them to “command” but then they go back to back to default… in the most recent case this happened within 24 hours. It may be related to a reboot but I need to confirm that. What’s really interesting is this doesn’t happen to all the control devices in the scene. This is one of my main scenes so it can be controlled from multiple devices. The main culprit seems to be my keypadlinc device. Did a search in the forum but not finding anyone else reporting the issue. Anyone else? The sensor comes set for Fahrenheit as default but in Canada we use Celsius. It was relatively simple to set the sensor to C using the Polisy parameters but the next day I would check and it had reset itself to F. I contacted Zooz and they never heard of the problem but suggested maybe a problem with the Polisy. The manual does refer to a nightly check with the controller for updates but I don’t think Polisy supports that functionality. Maybe the check in caused the reset to default? I have confirmed that the reboot is what is triggering it back to default These screenshots are taken within minutes of each other. The only difference is the reboot. It is a wifi device being controlled by a PG3 Node server. That seems to expand the scope of the bug beyond zwave and Zooz. I am however NOT seeing the issue with insteon devices.
