Connecting RaspberryPi to ISY994

I have a very basic question and I feel stupid for asking it but I have not been able to find the answer anywhere. I want to use Polyglot to get to a Node server. I need to connect a RaspberryPi to do this but how do I connect it? Do I need to add a hub and split the ISY994 between the RaspberryPi and the Insteon 2413S? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

JJust so you know. This method you're choosing is no longer being developed so support for the Node server you're looking at may be limited in addition to his long it'll actually work

@Murphy welcome to the forums. Good luck on your adventure. As @lilyoyo1 points out PG2 is no longer being developed and minimal support is probably available for that option. The latest device from Universal Devices is the Polisy, and is the only way to get Polyglot v3 (PG3) and the new node servers. It will also replace the old ISY994 device with ISY on Polisy (IoP).

But, if you've got a rPI and willing to try what you can with PG2 then be sure to check out some recent posts in the Polyglot V2 forum area here - https://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/155-polyglot-v2/

There seems to be some changes through the years with rPI OS updates that might not exist in the original setup process.

More information about Polisy and perhaps other assistance can be found on the UD Wiki - https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page
