Is there any plans to add ELK functionality to UD Mobile?  ELK stopped working on Agave.

Thanks

UD Mobile includes Elk functionality when run on the Elk Node Server. UD Mobile is the best app out there.

Is this only for Polisy?  If I use the node server does it mess up my existing elk programs?

There is a PG3 Node Server which requires Polisy, there is/was a PG2 version if you are already running PG2. Note that PG2 is depreciated so will not be getting additional updates/features.

I do not believe adding the node server interferes with existing Module, but I would ask on the ELK forum topic.  This only if using the 994i with Polisy and not IoP (ISY on Polisy).

Alternatively you could use programs/variables to work around the limitation in UD Mobile.  If mapping elk status to variable values the variables values can be mapped to text using Individual Status Mappings to show text values (i.e. armed/disarmed/ect.) and icons.  Programs as Favorites Command Type commands could allow arm/disarm on button press similar to the Favorite Custom Toggle Example.

@Blackbird Yes this will mess up the programs in that the old references to the Elk Module get deleted and need to be re-entered into the program using the nodes from the Node server.

Key to doing this easily for me was to ensure I had a copy of the programs via in the Admin Console (Before conversion), click on programs, then right click on the top header My programs and go to the last menu item Copy folder to clipboard and then paste into a text editor like word etc.

Then after conversion, open this up alongside the Admin console and scroll simultaneously and update each program. This was by far the most work for me in converting to IoP and PG3 but WELL WORTH IT. The Polisy is much much faster and the link between elk and IoP with motion sensors is noticeably faster.

Installing the node server on PG2 or PG3 will not interfere with existing programs on ISY994i.  Moving from ISY994i to ISY on Polisy will mess up all your existing programs since the ELK module doesn't exist on Polisy.

But, I honestly can't remember the state of ELK PG2 node server.  I'm pretty sure it was all working, just doesn't have all the latest updates made in the PG3 version.

I'm still running the PG2 node server on Polisy.  It's definitely functional and usable, but isn't 100% feature complete compared to the ELK module on the 994i.  If you want me to look up or test something for you, I'd be happy to.  But I'd just go straight to the PG3 version if I were you.

What would you say is missing?

To be clear, I was referring to the PG2 NS.  I have not updated to the PG3 version yet, though I have been following its development.  I don't have any expectations for the PG2 version to be developed further, and I don't personally rely on it for anything important.

I only chimed in to help Blackbird test PG2 NS functionality in case that would be helpful.  I might be one of the few people still running it.

I just added ELK module on PG3 and want to know how to access the ELK on UD mobile?

Also can you see the armed/disarmed status as well as arm and disarm the ELK from UD Mobile?

I believe you have to use the Elk Node Server for PG3 and UD Mobile. This will give you almost full functionality.

I did the sync but cant see where you can arm or disarm the system or see the status

Are the nodes in the Admin Console?

No:

Check PG3 for connection errors.

Yes:

Did you reboot ISY before sync?
