Polisy doesn't recognize my password anymore

Greetings;

This morning, I tried to log onto my Polisy locally, but it says "Password not recognized". No idea, how this would have changed...

Looking at means to reset my credentials, I see the following statement under the MULTI FUNCTION BUTTON:

Quote

Reset Credentials

Press and hold the button till the first LED (from the left) starts blinking then release. This action resets Polyglot as well as SSH credentials back to the default admin/admin.

Could you please clarify what "This action resets Polyglot" refers to? Will I have to reconfigure everything from scratch, or only the credentials?

Cheers;

Other good questions to add, is does it also reset IoP's credentials?  and does PolyGlot mean PG2, PG3 or both?  AFAIK all those are separately stored credentials as in IoP, PG2, PG3 and ssh login.

Thanks, MrBill;

I haven't migrated ISY994 onto my Polisy yet. Waiting for UDI's Z-Wave dongle. I don't want to do things twice.

Nor do I have PG3 installed yet, same reason as above.

My main question remains at: is only the Polyglot password reset, so I don't have to reinstall/reconfigure my node servers etc...

And just to make sure, I'm not confused here: I'm having problems logging into Polisy, not Polyglot (unless that is the same thing).

You stopped reading too soon. That multi function button when pressed as described "resets credentials". It doesn't "reset polyglot". I recall having to reset credentials using the button when I first got my Polisy (about a year ago). My assumption would be that it should still be functional that way.

I've actually not tried it since IoP was running on the box. Would need to be a question for @Michel Kohanim or @bpwwer to answer.

In this case Polisy = Polyglot

It appears in the "old" PGv2 screen it's showing as "Polisy Version 2" logging in, but that's just the Polyglot v2 login screen.

When you go for the PG3 login you see:
