noobie trying to learn to program. any tutoring for this?

If you Google ISY wiki, you'll come across the wiki link which has the full instructions on how to use the isy. Within the wiki, there are links to the isy cookbook and instructional videos.

If you're looking for personalized help, there is none that I'm aware of. Someone may be willing to help you like that for a fee.

The best thing to do is start small with basic stuff and then build out as you learn more. By reading the many threads on here, you may come across something someone else has done and use their programs to help learn more.

What @lilyoyo says about starting small is how I began some years ago. For me it was better than trying to learn everything all at once before trying to just automate the light in the hallway.

Instead, I would search on how to automate just one thing and get it to work. So, pick the first thing you want to do, search for examples, and if you get stuck on that one thing come here for help. You'll get plenty of it.

To search the forums here, I use the search box of course, and sometimes I do it this way:

site:https://forum.universal-devices.com type what you are looking for here

Let's say I want to learn how to turn on a light on at sunset:

site:https://forum.universal-devices.com turn on at sunset

Good luck!
