ronlovetri Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 I'm in the same boat on a MAC, tried to follow all the instructions. I am a longtime ISY user. Everything was working 2 months ago, just wanted to update some times and have spent the last two night trying to "Find ISY." Now the UD icon is gone off my desktop and when I click on start.jnlp it get the screenshot shown below, can't verify developer. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Bumbershoot Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Open System Preferences, and click on the Security and Privacy icon, General tab. You should be able to allow 'start.jnlp' from there.
ronlovetri Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 Thank you for the suggestion, it does not allow me to specify.
Solution Bumbershoot Posted June 30, 2022 Solution Posted June 30, 2022 @ronlovetri, you have to go to the Security & Privacy icon within an hour after you tried to open the app by the unidentified developer. Have a look at this link: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/open-a-mac-app-from-an-unidentified-developer-mh40616/mac 2
ronlovetri Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 Thank you!! It worked as described. Really appreciate the support, it would have spent endless hours trying to get this to launch. Thx, Ron 1

It seems that's similar to the directions in the ISY Wiki for MAC users found here - https://wiki.universal-devices.com/index.php?title=Main_Page#MAC_Users EDIT: Moved from prior location as was new issue.
