ELK node server support for thermostats?

Is there anyone with ELK that would like the node server to support thermostats connected to your ELK?  It's on my list, but I don't rember anyone asking for it yet https://github.com/UniversalDevicesInc-PG3/udi-poly-ELK/issues/50

@Jimbo.Automates, I personally use ELK for security and fire alarm only.  I will generally prefer a direct connect to other devices, so I'm unlikely to use thermostats connected directly to ELK.

Ok, finally found someone emoji16.png Are you using ELK node server now?

Yes I am using the Elk Node server now. I am able to see the temperature of, say, "Area 001  Bathroom Chase Zone 15". But I cannot figure out how to embed that is a customized content for an email.

The following does not work, for example:

The utility Room temperature is $(elk.zone.13.temp)

Should I use Alerts and Node Names?
