Has anyone had luck with using iLearn on the wf2ir device. I thought that I had done this in the past but now it doesn't seem to work. Is the GC IR receiver absolutely necessary.  I don't have that IR receiver so I have been trying to use  one from an HDMI extender. Thanks for any insight.

I should work, there is a small hole on the device which is the built in learning receiver.   Although it may be easier to download the codeset from the GC Control Tower database if available.

See this for Control Tower setup:

Unfortunately GC doesn't have this code set. I did look for a hole and even took it apart but didn't find any IR receiver. The only hole is for the reset button. iLearn only shows module and connector as capture options. Maybe missing something.

For the iTach its next to the power input at the bottom, for iTach flex on the top.  It has been sometime since I have used iLearn, but I don't remember it having need for module or connector, I think you might be using the program/setting for thier larger equipment which accepts IR receivers as a module.

Success. Finely got an IR code. Thanks. Just one question. Do I want to save in hex to copy into NS?

They should be in GC format, I have not had time to add parameters for an individual code so please see @apostolakisl great writeup on how to add learned codes as a single device.

Just finished up installing into the NS and all is working.

Thanks so much.
