TRI0N Posted March 31, 2023 Posted March 31, 2023 If I was to install a Bluetooth dongle into one of the eisy USB ports would it be able to add devices that are open in the environment? I got no response from Govee Developer on adding Temp Sensors so I found a work around but only if eisy makes use the Bluetooth. TRI0N

TRI0N I know eisy has Bluetooth but I haven't seen any noderservers that take advantage of it. I suspect whatever device you're trying to use would need a specific nodeserver so that the eisy knows how to interpret the information it was receiving

HA was able to detect the devices in the wild using BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). They broadcast on open BLE Network without API. TRI0N You mentioned using eisy not HA. Their setup is probably different than Udi's which is why it worked. Glad you got it working with your system
