Is there a way to do a text search across all of my ISY994i programs? I'd like to be able to quickly find references to specific variables, device names etc.

You can search, but use the RAW checkbox ticked.

I find it easier to dump the whole listing to a text file, and use an editor outside of the UI. The listing is of course static, but usually does the trick, and can be easily refreshed as needed. A great fallback when a restore  is needed in a FUBAR situation.

The admin console has program

search available after right clicking a program name. 

it doesn't matter where in the tree you click from, the search will always start at the top of the tree.

Its easier to use the various drop downs for objects such as variables/nodes/scenes.

When using RAW text keep in mind case counts.
