someguy Posted January 14 Posted January 14 As of now, i occasionally read through the nodeservers and see if any sound new. is there any way to get notified when new ones are released or to arrange them by date or release?
someguy Posted January 14 Author Posted January 14 that helps some, but clicking "modified" lists the most recently modifed nodeservers. I'd like to just have a list of the newest ones... or an email each time one goes into the production store, if possible.
paulbates Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) Another idea would be to add a node/device to each plugin called version, and track it with a program and variable just like the plugin down/up nodes/devices; send a notification to yourself when it changes. Last update date too, to help it survive reboots Edited January 14 by paulbates
Michel Kohanim Posted January 15 Posted January 15 A very good question and one for which we still have no answers. We used to have Plugin news, but customers complained about the number of emails they got (and they were right: currently, whenever I get Alexa newsletters, I simply delete them without even reading). The other option would be to send push notifications, but even that gets annoying. In short, what would be the best method without getting annoying? With kind regards, Michel
someguy Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 For me: a once a month email that lists any new node servers, if any. Not new versions, just new node servers and some detail as to what they do for what device(s)? 1
Michel Kohanim Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Good idea! Here's a new one that I developed myself! https://forum.universal-devices.com/forum/437-audioplayer/ With kind regards, Michel 1
