Is it possible to add an Insteon device without knowing the address?

I have some devices from "before UD" that I want to add to the Admin Console, but don't want to go around removing switch plates and hoping the label is still there.

If the address is unavailable your other option is to put the device into the linking mode, the controller will then see the address. You can do that without having to remove switch plates.

    Configure browser push notifications
    Chrome (Android)
    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
    2. Select Site settings.
    3. Find Notifications and adjust your preference.
